Cluster's structure
The Lower Silesian Cluster of Renewable Energy Cluster is a voluntary agreement between the various entities and does not have a legal personality. The Cluster has a clear organisational structure, which consists of:
- The Cluster’s Council,
- The Coordinator,
- 6 thematic networks,
- 3 problematic groups.
The formal basis is the status, and the most important body is the General Assembly of the Cluster.
The Cluster has the following thematic objectives:
- renewable energy resources
- environment protection,
- effective energy management (rational energy management),
- renewable energy ventures financing
Each member represents one of the six thematic networks:
- District heating companies - companies engaged in the production and heat supply; they undertake activities
- Companies – enterprises producing, installing and supplying equipment related related to renewable energy resources, environment protection and effective energy management.
- Local authorities – municipalities, communities, marshals and governors (public service) and their units.
- Financial institutions - banks, Environmental Protection Funds and other institutions financing renewable energy ventures, environment protection and rational energy usage.
- Education - R&D centres, educational units, schools and universities, training centres/companies.
- Other - foundations, associations, chambers, and other non-profit entities that support the development of renewable energy resources, environment protection and rational utilization of energy.
